I painted this at Kinfolk Celebration at Planet Bluegrass - September 19-20, 2014 in Lyons, CO. Sitting on a rock next to the creek watching kids and adults play in the creek. I forget who was playing. Camping cost so much there I drove to the mountains where I knew there was free camping in the national forest. I woke up to semi automatic gunfire at 7am. I forgot its a popular shooting area too. Drove back down the mountain had some lunch by the creek, then back to the fest.
